The late medieval pilgrimage monastery in Kadaň was the cynosure of monarchs and diplomats, priests and secular pilgrims, artists and patrons, noblemen and commoners for more than half of a millennium.

Monastery Garden

The monastery was built in the middle of vineyards in the 15th century and it also managed the land that the local regulars farmed and lived on since the very beginning.

The novitiate building was added to the western side of the monastery in the period from 1747 to 1749.
